A delicious mix of zesty flavours, The Melt Marmalade Collins has become one of our most popular cocktails on the Melt Bars Cocktail Menu this season!
Using fresh and slow dried oranges, our very own marmalade syrup, top quality vodka and plenty of ice, we plan on having this cocktail on our menus all year round! To make your own at home, all you will need: 50ml Vodka (We recommend using a quality spirit such as Grey Goose or Chase. If you're not a big drinker, it also tastes great using Conker Spirits' alcohol-free Bowser Leaf.) 25ml Fresh Lemon Juice 25ml Marmalade Syrup (To make the syrup, get yourself a jar of delicious marmalade, put it in a pan and heat up with some hot water - slowly add the water until you reach your desired consistency. It needs to remain relatively viscous.) 50ml Golden Grapefruit Juice Add plenty of ice to your Cocktail Shaker and combine all the ingredients... Then SHAKE! Pour into a glass and decorate with a fresh orange slice and float a dried one on top... Enjoy! MIX IT UP WITH... Ice + Fever Tree Tonic Optional, but we think it tastes delicious and makes your drink last that little bit longer! Fancy trying making this Cocktail yourself? We would love to see your photos, tag us on Instagram using the #MeltBars.

Somewhere between an after-dinner drink and an indulgent dessert, this meringue-topped coffee cocktail is special way to end a festival meal with friends...
This one takes a bit more prep-time, but take it from us, it's totally worth it! And your guests will be gobsmacked with the amount of effort you've gone too. On the downside, this probably isn't something you'll be drinking all evening, despite how good it tastes! Thanks to BBC Good Food for the excellent recipe. Method

It's Friday and we don't know about you, but Espresso Martini's are certainly on the cards for our Friday night antics... Easy to make and even easier to drink, the Espresso Martini will certainly get the party started!
Simply pour the three ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well, and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top with a few coffee beans and serve! 30ml Kahlua 30ml vodka 30ml espresso Sugar syrup to taste (we love it with vanilla!) Coffee beans to garnish Fancy shaking it up a bit? We added a dash of Cointreau into the mix too and it tasted delicious - Garnish with a curl of orange peel for a bit of added decor. Enjoy! |
